We spent a wonderful time in Günter and Martin’s Tom’s Guesthouse. The location is ideal for excursions, there is enough parking space and the furnishings are harmonious. Günter and Martin are not only helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations, but also with excursions - Günter is an outstanding contact person with great ideas. His tips at the beginning (how to behave in South Africa) gave us a feeling of security. We would also like to highlight the great breakfast, which even includes fresh rolls. The ability to purchase soft drinks and alcoholic beverages on site enriched our evenings, especially when guests gathered together. A great exchange that made our stays even more unforgettable. This warm support makes us sure that we won't be there for the last time. Thank you for the incredibly wonderful time!

We arrived early morning - long before check-in, but Gunther and Martin greeted us warmly and invited us to sit by the pool with a cup of tea until our room was available. Our room was spotless, spacious and well-equipped with an iron, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. There was also a sofa and a spacious wardrobe which housed the safe. Very comfortable beds and pillows. A great bathroom with plenty of towels and toiletries.
There was a guest fridge in the kitchen for personal stock of cold drinks, as well as an honesty fridge with beer, wine, water and soft drinks.
Buffet breakfast was plentiful, varied, and I had the best omelettes! Great jam, too - it was homemade, but not by Gunther - he could have lied, but he didn't! 😂
Gunther's advice is worth heeding (Ubers are inexpensive, safe and plentiful), and his restaurant recommendations never failed us.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
